Facts About Me as a PPM
- I am physically female, but I don't identify as any one gender. I do use the she pronouns but you can call me he ones as well. I don't really care.
- I am disabled, so this sometimes effects my ability to be online regularly, please note I do have other medical conditions that impact my availability.
- I am a Disabled SAHP, so I am sometimes not around when it says I am.
- My favorite color is Purple.
- My favorite animals are Cats.
- I don't like flowers... so most of my puppets don't either...
- Feel free to call me Squeaky or Cy
Facts About My Role Play
- I DO NOT role play in first person... it creeps me out. I am not my puppets, they are not me. I simply control the strings. I don't care about blogs being first person though. Those are fine
- Blogs that read private, are not public knowledge. Your character should not know what is happening if they are not there.
- Blogs that are public but occur while my character is alone, same thing. If my character is alone in their room crying, it doesn't make sense to leave a comment about your puppet comforting them. It WOULD make sense for your character to reach out in that time of need and ask them how they are etc. But they shouldn't know about the bedroom crying itself. They would probably know my character is upset but it has to follow in the RP confines that exist.
- I prefer narrative role play but for some of my characters I will do light actionable RP with conversational aspects.
- Game mechanics sometimes suck. They aren't always RP friendly and RP can't always be shown via the mechanics.
- Acronyms I use a lot:
- PPM = Puppet master, as in the person behind the puppets.
- OOC = Out of character, as in we, the puppet masters, talking about whatever the topic is.
- IC = In Character, as in our puppets and their lives.
- TGH = The Great Heist
- Pop = Popmundo
- RP = Role Play
- IRL = In real life
- RL = Real Life
- PPM = Puppet master, as in the person behind the puppets.
- I DO NOT consider diary entries to be this huge public knowledge thing. Like it makes sense if a character is going on many dates that another would know they hang out with other people.
- As such I also don't RP everything from my diary. It is a game mechanic, not an RP one. If my character is a surrogate, I might not be RPing her pregnancy. So the diary entries of her pregnancy are not character knowledge.
- As a surrogate my character might sleep with someone that they don't have a romantic connection with... don't pretend they do if you don't know.
- If my character is stood up, I don't necessarily RP that unless it is part of the RP... and vice versa. A diary entry about being stood up doesn't always mean someone got stood up. Typically there is a reason for the entry beyond trying to stand them up.
- Same thing with cancelled or rejected dates. Sometimes the timing just doesn't work.
- Also, if I end relationships, and it gives the diary entry, unless we have RP going on, chances are I was cleaning up my friends list. I do that time to time.
